“Societal” applications of Language Models

Among applications of LLMs, in this research area we investigate those related to problems in Society, such as gender-based violence and discrimination, or the dissemination of propaganda messages.

Goal

• Investigating new methodologies for detecting and mitigating social biases, “stereotyped” behavior in language models
• Application of LLMs to practical problems, such as violence prevention, build proof-of-concepts application
